KaratWorth is a free precious-metal calculator that runs almost entirely in your browser. We do not require an account, and we do not ask for personal information to use any calculator. This policy explains the limited data involved when you use the site.
Calculator Inputs Stay in Your Browser
The weights, prices, and other values you type into our calculators are processed locally in your browser to produce a result. We do not transmit, store, or sell your calculation inputs or results.
Local Storage
To remember your selected country and improve your experience, we may save a small preference (for example, your chosen country) in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device, is not personal information, and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.
Third-Party Services
To show a relevant calculator we may detect your approximate country using a third-party IP geolocation service, and we may request live metal spot prices from a third-party price feed. These requests are limited to what is needed for that feature. We do not send your calculator inputs to these services.
Analytics & Cookies
KaratWorth aims to keep tracking minimal. If analytics or advertising is used in the future, this policy will be updated to describe what is collected and how to opt out. We do not sell personal data.
